Mt Hotham ski trips

Every year for the past six years I have been fortunate to be able to go along with the CCAS year 10 students on their annual ski trip to Mt Hotham. (Care of Hayley Ferris who just keeps letting me come along) I go along to be part of what is something that these young people will remember for the rest of their lives.  Also to do the photography for the trip. Another reason I love going is that I get to combine my passion for photography with my ( I know some of you may find this hard to believe) passion for skiing.

I look forward to the trip all year. There’s just something about the atmosphere of the trip. Skiing and all the rest is great, but it’s also the new relationships formed and the deepening of others that make the trip so rewarding.

These are just some of the images from the last six years. Along with the obvious landscapes I also take images of the students skiing and and of the activities in the lodge at night.

Would like to post a few more images of the students skiing and having fun in the night activities but that ‘s probably not a good idea.

Next trip is in about six weeks!!

Break a leg!
